Mayor

Michael Carpenter began serving his  term as Mayor in January of 2021. He was elected to the 2-year term in the November 2020 City election.  Mike is a native of Lake Benton and has previously served as Mayor of the City of Lake Benton.  Mike is also the Commander of the local American Legion Post.  Mike is ready to work  to make Lake Benton a good place to live and work.
